our party grows weary
something unkind once called this place home
these texts we have found are not written in a way we may understand them, yet we sense that they mock us
this path through decrepit ruins may soon reach its end,
and the end is what I fear the most

twin moons of Mysslia dwell hatefully tonight
in the sky where they watch over our ceremonies
we bind these structures of flesh and bone to the ground
so that in the years to come we will be disturbed from our slumber
unkind

I was awoken in the early hours of dawn
trembling, I waited for my eyes to adjust, twin moons rising over the mountains
a wrong move of my hand found it in the murk of liquid spilled across the cobblestones where we made our camp
numb, I began to make out the mutilated figures of those who, hours before, had warned me to leave this strange, hateful place
as the twin moons continue their ascent, I hear the whispering of wind as unkind spirits continue to stir beneath me
